The Ford Model A “Woody” station wagon is a classic, factory-built vehicle featuring a real wood body frame that Ford produced from late 1929 through 1931.
Ford launched its first mass-produced factory station wagon in 1929, replacing earlier aftermarket “depot hacks” built for resorts and hotels .
The hardwood for the bodies came directly from Ford’s lumber operation in Michigan.
